Do you know a passionate educator who would make an amazing computer science teacher? Now’s your chance to recognize their impact!
This year, Code.org is offering full-ride scholarships for thousands of eligible K-12 teachers attending our professional learning workshops. These scholarships are worth up to $3,000 per teacher, and are funded in large part thanks to support from our generous donors.
Code.org has prepared almost 100,000 educators to teach our courses, and they give our program rave reviews. We welcome teachers from all subject areas — no CS experience needed!
To inspire as many outstanding teachers as possible to apply this year, we’re encouraging everyone to nominate a favorite teacher to teach computer science.
The success of our professional learning program depends on the work of our partners to spread the word. Corporate partners like Amazon, Infosys, and Google are rallying their employees and communities to nominate a teacher, and so are fellow teachers, parents, and students. We couldn’t do it without you!
Fill out this short form to let us know who they are and why they’d make a great computer science teacher. We’ll let them know you nominated them for a scholarship and share your nomination with our Regional Partner reviewing the applications in your state.
Computer science provides a foundation in critical thinking and creativity for every student, not just those who want careers in tech. But most schools don’t have a complete computer science offering, even though most teachers and parents believe it should be part of core curriculum.
